"Team Beat It" is back and we are on a conquest with not 4 but now in 2012 we are 5 riders. Erik, Trevor, Yvonne, Anne and James have decided to team up in The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation. 2011 was a challenge in itself cycling 250Km and raising $11,300, but when the Ride to Conquer Cancer offered an extra challenge course of 200 miles through the foot hills of the Cascades from Greater Vancouver to Seattle we were on it. We will Strive to make a difference in the fight against cancer.


As James knows being a survivor, we're here because we know that cancer is too big a disease to ignore. It affects everyone, maybe you, me, our parents, kids, siblings or friends. Sadly, maybe all of the above. But by riding in this event we are doing something about it. We're rolling closer and closer to the end of cancer. It's an awesome triumph in a physical sense and emotionally as well.


So hey, join us in our battle and help us all reach not only our minimum of $2500 but share in the glory of knowing you did something to help! We will be doing training rides, helping each other to fundraise, and generating awareness for critical cancer research at the BC Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and care.
