We are riding to conquer cancer! We have teamed up yet again for the 5th year in a row for The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation. It?s a 200+ km cycling journey through Canada's Pacific region taking place in June 2013.
We?re riding to raise awareness and funding for clinical cancer research because without clinical research, there is no path to new treatments or cures. Cancer has affected us all as doctors and nurses, friends and family, survivors and supporters. Cancer sucks and we are working every day to make a shift happen from where we are now to better treatments, longer term disease control, and more cures. Paradigm shifts have happened, advances have been made and the team at the BC Cancer Agency have been leading the way.
